Some talk about replacing hydrated lime with Diatomaceous in 80#
bags. Also Don Helton suggested using Diatomaceous with glass
to spread under your hive and is sold in 5# bags.

Gary Barrow suggested buying in bulk form Beeline Apiaries and
Woodenware. The attached
PDF gives some prices.

the design. Dan Lambeth will find the cost of embroidery.
Dirk will check on T-Shirt prices at Marvin's. Color, style
and quantity yet to be determined.
OJ talked about having flowering plant year around for your bees.
Chinese Tallow (Popcorn) Tree, Vitex, White Clover, Hubam Clover,

Plant the clover one month before the first frost (Mid Sept).
Be sure to kill all the grass with a herbicide. Prepare the
ground by plowing, disking and a process the flattens and pushes the
seed in. Might be able to drag chain link fence.
Mix two parts sugar with one part water through the winter.
Get all your equipment ready this fall.
Get your bees early by the end January or early February.
Elmer Herman of Millie Bee has a great deal with the queen and five
frames for $95. OJ recommended picking them up at his Alabama
site.
OJ showed us his 6 x 4 shelter for his hives.
