Where do you find the large staples to hold the brood hive to the bottom board?

Plastic foundations come in Black and White.  Which do I use?

Brushy Mountain Bee Farm said to use black in the brood hive and white in the supers.

Frames come in with top bars wedge or grooved and bottom bars grooved or divided. Which do I use?

The beginners hive kit came with an inner cover. It did not have screen over the opening?
